OEM & Private Label

Your brand. Our factory floor.

Private-label and OEM work is a long relationship built on getting the first sample right and then repeating it exactly. We treat the approved prototype, finish sample and packing sample as the contract — because in practice, they are.

The OEM Process

Nine stages, each with something you approve.

Nothing moves to the next stage until the previous one is signed off. That is slower at the start and considerably faster overall.

To confirmTooling capability and in-house design scope must be confirmed with the factory. We do not promise tooling or complete product design until that capability is verified.

  1. 01

    Requirement

Share the product, target market, expected volumes and the brand standards the product must meet.

  2. 02

    Feasibility Review

We review the requirement against what the factory can actually produce, and say clearly which parts are feasible and which are not.

  3. 03

    Drawing or Sample

Work proceeds from your drawing, your physical sample, or a reference product to be adapted.

  4. 04

    ToolingTo confirm

Where a new form requires tooling, scope, cost and timeline are confirmed before commitment. Tooling is discussed case by case, not assumed.

  5. 05

    Prototype

A prototype is produced for your review, covering form, dimensions and function before any finish is committed.

  6. 06

    Finish Approval

Finish samples are produced and approved physically. The approved sample becomes the reference for all later production.

  7. 07

    Packaging Approval

Inner boxes, labels, barcodes and master-carton marking are produced to your artwork and approved before bulk packing.

  8. 08

    Pilot Production

A pilot run confirms that the process holds at volume before the full order is committed.

  9. 09

    Bulk Manufacturing

Bulk production runs against the approved prototype, finish sample and packing standard, with batch identification retained.

Capabilities

What can carry your brand.

From a mark on the rose to an entire packaged range developed exclusively for your market.

Buyer branding

Your name or mark applied to the product, applied by the method appropriate to the material and finish.

Custom product marking

Part numbers, batch codes or market-specific markings applied during production rather than added afterwards.

Custom packaging

Inner boxes, sleeves and master cartons produced to your artwork, approved as a physical sample before bulk packing.

Barcode & label support

EAN/UPC barcodes, SKU labels and carton marking prepared to your retail or warehouse system's requirements.

Custom finishes

Finishes developed to match a reference sample, with the approved sample retained as the production standard.

Design modification

Existing designs adapted — section, length, rose form, fixing — where a full new development is not warranted.

Product bundles

Sets assembled and packed as one saleable unit: handle, lock, escutcheon and fixings in your own configuration.

Exclusive development

A range developed for and reserved to one buyer in an agreed territory, on terms settled before development begins.

Getting Started

What we need from you.

An OEM enquiry moves quickly when these arrive together. If you only have some of them, send what you have — we will tell you what else is needed.
  • The product

A drawing, a physical sample, or a reference product we should work from.

  • The market

Where it will be sold, and any requirements that market imposes on the product or its documentation.

  • The volume

An approximate annual quantity, so we can advise whether tooling or adaptation makes more sense.

  • The brand standards

Artwork, marking requirements, packaging expectations and anything your retail channel demands.

OEM Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Private-label work covers buyer marking on the product, packaging artwork, inner boxes, labels and barcodes. The scope is agreed before production and the approved packing sample becomes the standard.
